We are very pleased to announce the next official Ambassador for the Pat Cronin Foundation with international cycling commentator Matthew Keenan accepting our invitation.
Here are some words from Matthew: I support the Pat Cronin Foundation because I have two young children who I want to be safe when they go out, as everyone in the community deserves to be safe.
It's actually hard to articulate why I support the foundation because there isn't a single good reason not to. Anything that reduces any form of violence is a great cause, particularly cowardly acts of unprovoked violence.
Matthew's reach to a worldwide audience will definitely help us to spread the word to Be Wise and to End the Coward Punch. We look forward to a wristband photo or more from the Giro or Le Tour later in the year.

I shared Pat's story with my Year 2 class on National Anti Bullying Day and one of my sweet students went home and told her mum about Pat. Her mum said they cried about it and decided to write this poem together.....
One Punch
One second turns life to death.
One second turns all lives to mess.
One second turns love to hate.
The Cowards Punch
Takes all of living away.
A Mothers heart
Bleeds with the loss of her Son.
A Fathers Son can no longer
Carry the family name on.
A best friend mourns
